Loan Administration Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and manage a staff of 10+ loan admin and document preparation personnel.
  2. Ensure the accurate and prompt recordings of loans after approval.
  3. Enhance the efficiency of the loan department guiding staff through all facets of loan administration and support including loan document preparation for Consumer, Commercial, Agricultural, Real Estate and Participation loans with heavy emphasis on CRE loans.
  4. Review, tracking and ongoing maintenance of all loan documentation and credit files to ensure loans are within regulatory compliance parameters as well as the bank’s policies and procedures.
  5. Assist loan officers with daily requests and questions relating to documentation, lien perfection and document tracking.
  6. Verification of loan data input on core system and maintain digital imaging of all loan documentation.
  7. Monitor and maintain exception and tickler tracking.
  8. Process loan payments, loans paid in full and prepare collateral releases.
  9. Monitor daily department reports for non-posting, general ledger activity and exception items.
  10. Have knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
  11. Interact with board of directors, auditors, examiners and attorneys.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with Commercial, Agricultural, Real Estate, Construction and Consumer loan documentation strongly with prior successful loan administration managerial experience.
  • Experience with LaserPro and FIS computer systems a plus.
  • Requires strong organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to build rapport with branch personnel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks at a fast pace to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.

Deposit and Loan Support Banker

Summary:

First-Lockhart has an immediate opening for a Deposit and Loan Support Banker at our San Marcos location. We are searching for a professional that has had proven success in past careers, is self-motivated, and has a great attitude. This position would become an integral part of our San Marcos team and will work hand-in-hand with the San Marcos Office executives and numerous bank departments to ensure that customer services and bank products are delivered timely, accurately and professionally.

While the Deposit and Loan Support Banker is primarily responsible for personal interaction with the executive staff and office customers, the position would also be expected to perform a wide variety of administrative functions. This position is responsible for providing office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the San Marcos office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provides support for lending executives.
  2. Prepares in-house loan documentation.
  3. Facilitates the lending process with customers; documentation, interviewing and closing.
  4. Answers incoming calls and handles caller’s inquiries whenever possible, directing customers to the correct department/individual as needed.
  5. Greets, assists and/or directs customers, visitors, and the general public.
  6. Responsible for typing correspondence, memos, forms and reports.
  7. Notarizes documents as necessary.
  8. Receives, directs and relays telephone messages and fax messages.
  9. Corresponds with loan customers as needed.
  10. Classifies, sorts and files correspondence, articles, records and other documents.
  11. Provides exceptional service that is consistent with or exceeds bank standards of excellence in customer service.
  12. Opens, maintains and closes all types of accounts.
  13. Resolves customer issues in a timely, consistent and professional manner.
  14. Actively promotes and contributes to the achievement of branch organizational and developmental goals.
  15. Develops a well-rounded knowledge of all bank departments.
  16. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school degree/GED or equivalent. College degree preferred.
  • Minimum one year retail sales or customer service experience - in person or over the phone required, or if college degree, then demonstrated leadership or goal achievement in related school activities or internships.
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport, be friendly and personable and look for ways to benefit the customer.
  • Excellent customer contact skills; comfortable asking questions/interviewing customers about their financial situation; strong listening skills.
  • Understands how to present features, and benefits of products and services to customers with differing needs.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, performs well in a team environment to service customers.
  • Professional, thorough and organized; able to follow standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Ability to learn products, services and procedures quickly and accurately; explain concepts clearly to customers.
  • Ability to work branch hours and some evenings.

Full Time Teller

Summary:

Process deposits, transfers, withdrawals and other transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures; must be continuously aware of fraud loss and check cashing guidelines as well as all security and transaction documentation requirements.  Also responsible for the security of assigned cash which must be maintained and balanced within established guidelines.  Assist with selling of bank products to new and existing customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Process all transactions within established policies and procedures to ensure operation excellence.
  2. Balances cash drawer according to bank procedures on a daily basis.
  3. Process cash advance transactions daily.
  4. Close out deposits made with MasterCard/Visa sales daily.
  5. Safeguard cash, confidential customer information, and bank assets.
  6. Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer sales to the appropriate departments.
  7. Cooperate with co-workers to complete assignments in a timely manner as needed.
  8. Process miscellaneous mail-in deposits.
  9. Process night deposit bags under dual control.
  10. Assist in commercial deposits as needed.
  11. Provides excellent customer service to all customers of the bank and assist with printouts, inquiries, check orders, and other directions as needed.
  12. Performs all other job duties as assigned by management.
  13. Abides by First-Lockhart National Bank policies and procedures, including dress code standards, safety guidelines, security procedures, etc.
  14. Attend all mandatory meetings.

Requirements:

  • Requires the ability to read, understand and write the English language.
  • Requires the ability to speak and hear the English language.
  • Requires the ability to perform arithmetical calculations in order to complete customer transactions.
  • Requires the ability to use teller terminal, computers, printers, calculators, currency and coin equipment, fax machine, and copier to perform the job.
  • Requires the ability to be mobile approximately 2 hours per workday.
  • Requires the ability to stand 7 hours per workday.
  • Requires the ability to bend/squat frequently in the scope of performing the job.
  • Requires the ability to transport up to 50lbs of boxed/bagged coins.
  • Requires sufficient visual acuity to perform the job.
  • Requires the ability to use hands frequently for fine manipulation of equipment and materials such as keyboard, paper and currency.
  • Requires the ability to possess mental demands, precisions and accuracy.
  • Requires the ability to possess public relations and communication skills in dealing with Bank customers.

Essential Job Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma.
  2. Related work experience or minimum 1 year cash handling experience.
  3. Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
  4. Good communication and customer relations skills.
